Inspired by Bridget Riley’s use of cohesive diagonal lines in her Bassacs painting (shown on the left), this project translates a distinct art style into a duplex in the heart of Los Angeles. This duplex is designed to perform as a home for two families with a carefully curated division of space that facilitates a balance between privacy and interaction. Unlike any typical home, this project includes a rock climbing wall, a fireplace, and a garden all integrated into the home.
